Migratory birds seen around Ahvaz White Bridge

Migratory birds have arrived in Ahvaz White Bridge on Karun River.

The bridge, a symbol of the beauty of this city, hosts migratory birds every year from mid-autumn to the end of winter.

The presence of the birds creates a tourist attraction for the people of Ahvaz in Khuzestan Province, southwest of Iran.

Many people have gone to the White Bridge to watch and feed the birds.

White Bridge, inaugurated about 100 years ago, is a bridge with two concrete arches of 12 and 20 meters on a concrete foundation, built above the Karun River.

Karun is Iran's most effluent and only navigable river. It is 950 kilometers long and pours in the Persian Gulf.
